Information Technology/Network Administration Career Academy
This Tech Prep program provides students with a foundation in the basic technologies of computer hardware and software maintenance. A total of 11 DMACC credits are available upon completion of all DMACC Career academy course offerings.

| Composition, Algebra I, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Physics, Principles of Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Keyboarding. Note: Completion of Algebra II is strongly recommended. |
| DMACC credits you can earn while in high school: | |
| NET 144 | Digital/Computer Electronics – 3 credits In the context of today's computer technology, this class studies digital electronic circuits concentrating on gates, counters, registers and memory. Also included is the study of data communications by bus structure, parallel and serial ports and microprocessors. |
| NET 213 | CISCO Networking – 4 credits This course provides the student with a technical level of understanding in the areas of PC and mainframe networking connectivity, data communications and protocol communication. |
| NET 123 | Computer Hardware Basics – 4 credits An evaluation of microcomputer systems, including computer diagnostics and repair. It also includes peripheral troubleshooting. |
