DMACC Women's Golf Team Places 11th at Nationals
The DMACC Women’s Golf Team finished in 11th place at the 2010 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Women’s National Championship at Daytona Beach, Florida.
Daytona State College had the lowest score among the 20 teams competing and won the championship. Daytona State College finished 60 strokes ahead of second place, McLennan Community College from Waco, Texas.
DMACC was led by Amanda Davidson of Ankeny who tied for 28th place. Other DMACC team members included Madi Fischels of Clear Lake who finished in 51st, Mandy Kohlhaas of Algona, who finished in 77th Dani Grantham of Fontanelle, who finished in 92nd and Kenidy Eckerman of Carroll, who finished in 98th. The DMACC Bears are coached by Larry Briley.
