Brittney McKowen of Wapsie Valley High School Signs letter of Intent to Play for DMACC
Brittney McKowen (second from left) of Wapsie Valley High School has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC). Others taking part in the signing ceremony include Brittney’s mom, Marti McKowen (left to right), Brittney McKowen, DMACC Women’s Head Basketball Coach Steve Krafcisin and Brittney’s dad, Marty McKowen. Brittney was a Second Team All State selection her senior year. She was named to the First Team All District and First Team All Conference selection in both her junior and senior years. She has scored more than 1,000 points in her high school career and is second on the all time scorers list at Wapsie Valley.
