Boylan Signs Letter of Intent to Play at DMACC

Molly Boylan, a 5’ 6” point guard from Exira High School, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball for Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC).

Boylan averaged 14.3 points and more than four assists per game for the 22-1 Exira Vikettes.

Boylan was an All-State Third Team Iowa Girls Coaches Association selection, named to the All State Second Team, was a two time All Conference First Team selection and a McDonald’s All-American who was selected to the Gatorade All Star Game. In addition, she scored more than 1,000 career points and was named to the Honor Society all four years of high school.

“Molly is a tough little point guard who brings passion and intensity to the game,” said DMACC Head Women’s Basketball Coach Steve Krafcisin. “She is just totally and completely unselfish and is concerned with wining and being the coach on the floor over individual honors. Molly is a leader and I am looking forward to being her coach the next two years.

Boylan is the daughter of Jayne Henrich of Exira and Bob Boylan of Hawaii.
