Amber Boevers of Wapsie Valley High School to Play for DMACC

Boevers' high school accomplishments include: Member of District Championship Team 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007; Member of 2007 Senior Classic All Star Team; Class 1A All Tournament Team in 2007; Class 1A Iowa State Volleyball Championship Team in 2007; All State Class 1A 1st Team in 2007; Des Moines Register All State 1st Team in 2007; Corridor All Star Co-Player of the Year in 2007; Corridor All Star 1st Team in 2007; NICL East Volleyball Conference Champions in 2007; NICL East Volleyball Conference MVP in 2007; NICL East Volleyball Conference 1st Team in 2007; Prep to Watch - Waterloo Courier October 2007 and November 2006; Class 1A Iowa State Volleyball Championship Team in 2006; All State Class 1A 1st Team in 2006; All District Class 1A Team in 2006; Des Moines Register All State 1st Team in 2006; NICL East Volleyball Conference MVP in 2006; NICL East Volleyball Conference 1sst Team in 2006; NICL East Volleyball Conference 2nd Team in 2005; NICL East Volleyball Conference Honorable Mention in 2004; Member of JOVC National Championship Qualifying Team from 2004-2008; 2003 JOVC Invitational Champions 14U.
Boevers will play for the Bears, who advanced to the national volleyball tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona and concluded the year with a 46-11 record.
