Makenna Slight to Play Softball at DMACC

Boone High School senior Makenna Slight has signed a national letter of intent to play Softball for the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Bears. Slight (center) is pictured here with Coach Bob Ligouri, Mike Slight (standing) Brenda Slight.
Makenna is a multi position defensive player that has played in a very successful high school program under Coach McDonald at Boone. She too has earned a leadership position on her team, and is totally unselfish in her approach to the game. She has broken several softball records - one of the most important being Sacrifice Bunts for her high school team. She is an outstanding student - earning high academic honors.
