Prince Named Athlete of the Week
David Prince has been named Athlete of the Week by ICCAC for the week of February 8-15.

It has been a good stretch for the DMACC Bears in the past few weeks; they have won 5 of their last 6 games since dropping two straight conference games in late January. And now David Prince has been named the DII Men’s Basketball Athlete of the Week. Winning games to Iowa Lakes (64-54), and NIACC (75-68) this week, the Bears are now 5-4, 18-7 overall. In the game against Iowa Lakes, Prince only scored 10 points but in the game against NIACC he had a much better game putting up a double-double scoring 18 points (7-10 FG’s), grabbing 13 rebounds, and getting 1 block, and 1 steal. Originally from Maywood, IL, Prince is currently a freshman majoring in Sports Management at DMACC. His future plans include attending a four-year school after his time at DMACC to continue his basketball career. Nice job this week and good luck with the rest of your season.
