DMACC Men's Basketball Players Earn Academic Honors
Three members of the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) men’s basketball program have earned academic honors for National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XI.

Named to the Region XI All-Academic First Team was freshman Scottie Davis of Omaha, Neb. Freshmen Kurtis Phillips of Adelaide, Australia, and Cole Martin of Omaha, Neb., were named to the second team.
The criteria for first-team recognition included having a grade point average of 3.50 to 4.00. The criteria for second team recognition included having a grade point average of 3.00 to 3.49
