Shelton Colwell |

Shelton Colwell was part of Coach Orv Salmon’s initial recruiting class. He helped DMACC compile an overall record of 60-10, back to back conference titles and helped the 2001-02 team to the NJCAA Final Four. A two time All-American, Colwell moved on to play Division I Basketball at Southwest Missouri State (now Missouri State). Shelton is currently playing professionally overseas in Israel. |

Ian Young |

Ian Young played at DMACC from 2001-03. He was part of DMACC’s Final Four team in the 2001-02 season. During his sophomore campaign, Young was named a 2nd Team All-American. After his time at DMACC, Young transferred to Auburn University where he finished up his collegiate playing career. Ian still holds Auburns record for highest free throw percentage (85.7%). Ian is currently playing professionally overseas in Italy. |

John Holmes |

John Holmes played at DMACC during the 2006-07 season. While only playing one season for the Bears, Holmes was in an integral part of DMACC’s National Tournament run and helped the Bears tie a school record in wins with 31. After DMACC, Holmes attended Bethune-Cookman, where he finished up his college play career. Holmes is currently playing basketball professionally in Luxembourg. |
