Text Box: "The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence."

DMACC students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher after accumulating at least 12 community college credits are eligible to join Phi Theta Kappa.

Beta Gamma Rho welcomed 11 new members for the Fall 2011 semester, and 20 new members for the Spring 2012 semester.

Induction of new members for the 2011 – 2012 academic year will take place on April 10, 2012 at 5:30pm on the Newton campus.

 

 

MEETINGS:           

Joint SAC/PTK meetings occur every other Friday on the Newton campus

Wednesday, May 2 at 7:00pm                                    Commencement ceremony at Wells Fargo Arena (Ankeny, Newton, Urban, and West campuses)
