Text Box: "The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence."

DMACC students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher after accumulating at least 12 community college credits are eligible to join Phi Theta Kappa.

Beta Gamma Rho is currently welcoming new members for the Fall 2012 semester.

Induction of new members for the 2012 2013 academic year will be announced.

 

 

MEETINGS:

Blue Crew meetings occur on the 1st and 3rd Fridays on the Newton campus. Blue Crew includes Newton campus PTK and SAC.

 

 

As you prepare to transfer to a 4 year college, be sure to ask if your college offers a Phi Theta Kappa scholarship.
