No Classes- Labor Day

  Tuesday

We began with a conversation exercise reviewing the vocabulary from Friday.  We then did reading and listening exercises from Standout, pp. 12 & 13.  Next we filled out the entry forms for the CASAS test, which is planned for next week.  I handed out the Quiz 1 Study Guide, and we finished class with grammar exercises over articles.

   Wednesday

Today we met in the computer lab and completed Computer Assignment 2.  In the second part of class, we worked in Standout on p. 14.  Next, I gave a review grammar lesson on articles.  This lesson included a helpful handout presenting the basic rules of article usage.  The handout is available in the class binder.  We finished class with dictation practice.
