Heidi Manken, a 5’ 11 forward from Ogden High School, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball for Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC).
Manken led the Ogden Bulldogs in scoring and rebounding as a senior averaging 12.5 points per game and 9.3 rebounds per game. She also set the school all-time record for most rebounds in a single season (196).
Manken was a unanimous First Team Heart of Iowa Conference selection and a District performer.
“Heidi brings an inside presence and is a physical hard working young lady who will improve our team, said DMACC Head Women’s Basketball Coach Steve Krafcisin. “I am excited that Heidi has chosen to continue her athletic and educational career here at DMACC.
Manken is the daughter of Vicki and Norman Manken of Ogden.
