Five DMACC Women Players Named to Academic All-Region Team
Five Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Women’s basketball players have been named to the first or second team National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XI Academic All-Region Team.

Ellie Ritscher of Keystone, Brittney McKowen of Fairbank and Cassie Nauholz of Cedar Rapids have been named to the first team, while of Spencer and Dani Lang of Ankeny have been named to the second team.
Ritscher and McKowen were also named to the Academic All-Region Team last year. In addition, Ritscher was named a First Team All-Region Performer and Jacobsen was a Second Team All-Region selection.
