Katie Rielly from Oskaloosa High School Signs National Letter of Intent to Play for DMACC

Rielly was a First Team All-Conference selection during her senior year. She was also named the Most Valuable Player on the Oskaloosa team. During her junior year, Rielly was named to the Second Team All-Conference Team and an All-Conference Academic selection.

As a sophomore, Rielly was named the most improved player on the varsity squad

Rielly, who is the Oskaloosa Senior Class President, Student Council Vice President and a National Honor Society member, will play for the DMACC Bears next fall.

“We are excited to have Katie on the team,” said DMACC Head Volleyball Coach Patty Harrison. “Her athletic skills and knowledge of the game will be an asset as she advances to the collegiate volleyball setting.”

Rielly joins the Bears, who have advanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II National Volleyball Tournament for the past three consecutive years. The Bears finished eighth in the national tournament and had a 41-9 overall record in 2008.
