
The Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Volleyball team, ranked 13th in the nation, has won the Region XI Iowa Community College Athletic Conference South regional tournament and now advances to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Volleyball National Tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona Nov. 15-17. DMACC defeated Kirkwood Community College 30-23, 30-22 and 30-25 in the finals to advance to the national tournament.

The Bears enter the national tournament with a 45-8 record. This is the second consecutive year that the Boone Bears have advanced to the national volleyball tournament.
