Torgerson selected to NJCAA USA All-Star Team
DMACC starting pitcher Ryan Torgerson from Johnston, IA has been selected to be part of the NJCAA USA All-Star Baseball Team. Torgerson, who will be a sophomore this fall at DMACC, was 9-1 with a 4.57 ERA with 64 strikeouts and only 10 walks in 67.0 innings this past spring. He was named ICCAC Pitcher of the Year, 1st Team All-Region, and named to the North Planes All-District team. The Bears were 47-11 and picked up their third consecutive ICCAC Championship with a 20-4 record in the 2010 campaign.
