DMACC Signs Six Student Athletes
Head baseball coach Travis Wyckoff announces the signing of six student athletes, “We are extremely excited about the six guys that we have signed so far. Obviously our work is not done but these six give us a great start.”
Tyler Robbins: Infielder from Bettendorf HS. Hit .400 his junior year and was also named first team all-conference.
Garrett Cummings: LHP/OF from Denver HS. Hit .524 his junior year and also went 8-2. Second team all-state in 2006.
Jake Astor: INF/OF from Iowa City West HS. Hit .468 with 6 homeruns in 2006. Second team all-state in 2006.
Ryan Brouwer: INF from East HS in Des Moines. Hit .389 with 3 homeruns in as a junior. Was all- conference in 2006.
Eric Holmes: LHP from Wilton HS. Was 9-1 with a 0.54 ERA in 2006. Following his junior year he was a first team all-state selection.
Mitch Mormann: RHP from West Delaware HS. 3-0 with a 1.75 ERA his junior year.
